Small and Medium Prefab Modular Data Centers
Program Introduction
Small and Medium Prefab Modular Data Centers
Small and medium prefab modular data centers adopt the design concept of modular prefabrication in the factory and stacking and assembly on site. It means to prefabricate and install the IT equipment area, security monitoring area, operator area, power supply and distribution area, refrigeration area and other auxiliary areas in multiple customized containers in the factory. These containers undergo pre-integration of electromechanical systems, partition testing, packaging, and transportation before being stacked and assembled on site, providing customers with a new data center solution that offers rapid deployment, high efficiency, energy savings, and flexible scalability.
● It is suitable for a single project of 6MW or a single unit scale ≥300 standard cabinets;
● Delivery period: 3 months (beginning from design to product delivery, but excluding transportation)
Application Scenarios
  • Governments, enterprises
  • Operators
  • Financial self-use data centers
Advantages
Traditional Civil Engineering Structures
  • Prolonged Construction Period
The construction period varies from 18 to 24 months, leading to a prolonged investment recovery period and increased uncertainty.
  • High Comprehensive Costs
Projects are completed through manual operations, with high on-site installation costs, extensive project management, significant energy loss, and limited room for cost optimization.
  • Low Standardization
Customer requirements are non-standard, with a high degree of customization, making it difficult to achieve standardization and delivery at scale.
  • Severe Construction Pollution
A large amount of wet work is used, consuming and wasting a significant amount of on-site building materials, water and electricity resources, with a low material recycling rate. This generates a large amount of dust, waste gas, and construction waste, producing a significant amount of carbon emissions during the construction process.
Prefab Modular Data Center
  • Short Construction Period
Taking a 20MW overseas data center project as an example, the fastest delivery time is less than 7 months.
  • Low Comprehensive Cost
Interior decoration, equipment installation, pipeline laying and wiring, and integrated commissioning are all prefabricated in the factory, significantly reducing on-site workload.
  • High Standardization
Full modular design is adopted, with up to 95% pre-integrated in the factory, allowing for standardized and scalable delivery.
  • Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly
A significant portion of the work is completed within the factory, reducing construction waste by 90%, construction water usage by 80%, and increasing the material recycling rate by 80%.
