Integrated Industrial Wastewater Treatment Solution
Technical Background
Emerging contaminant mainly originates from the production and use of toxic and hazardous chemical substances. Currently, emerging contaminants of widespread concern both domestically and internationally include persistent organic pollutants, endocrine disruptors, antibiotics, and others regulated by international conventions. To strengthen the management of emerging contaminants and effectively safeguard ecological and environmental safety and public health, the State Council issued the "Action Plan for the Management of Emerging Contaminants" on May 4, 2022. This plan includes the dynamic release of a list of key controlled emerging contaminants and implements environmental risk management measures such as prohibitions, restrictions, and discharge limits on these contaminants, significantly enhancing the capacity for their management.
Technical Introduction
Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) are an effective method for treating emerging contaminants. These processes are characterized by the generation of highly reactive free radicals (hydroxyl radicals, sulfate radicals) that have strong oxidizing capabilities. Under reaction conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, electricity, sound, light irradiation, and catalysts, these radicals oxidize large, hard-to-degrade organic molecules into low-toxicity or non-toxic small molecules. Leveraging its advanced equipment manufacturing capabilities, CIMC Environmental has developed several integrated AOP systems suitable for water pollution control across various industries.
Technical Advantages
  • High contaminant removal efficiency
The technology reacts rapidly and is suitable for wastewater that is difficult to biodegrade or where chemical oxidation is not generally effective.
  • Wide applications
The technology is suitable for tap water, pharmaceutical wastewater, aquaculture effluent and other industries.
  • Low risk of byproducts
The technology reacts completely to ensure thorough removal of pollutants without generating toxic byproducts.
  • Short construction period
The equipment is highly integrated, reducing the civil engineering workload and shortening the construction period.
