Established in 1996, CIMC Xinhui is an important industry base for the container group under CIMC Group—one of the world's leading suppliers of logistics and energy equipment, located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise and a provincial and sophisticated enterprise.

The company primarily focuses on container manufacturing and is a diversified enterprise that spans fields such as IDC, power energy equipment, environmental-friendly water treatment, and industrialized aquaculture. It owns two subsidiaries: Xinhui CIMC Container Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Xinhui CIMC Special Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd.. It has incubated innovative enterprises such as CIMC Xinhui Fisheries Technology, CIMC Xinhui Environmental Technology, and Jiangmen CIMC Digital Power Equipment Co., Ltd..

CIMC Xinhui is dedicated to becoming a global leader and innovator in containerized transportation solutions and integrated equipment solutions. It boasts world champion products in the 53' and flatracks categories. In the fields of containers, integrated container-type equipment, aquatics, and environmental protection, the company has cumulatively applied for over 600 patents and has been granted more than 500 patents.

With over twenty years of innovation and accumulation, the company has successfully developed 27 series of over 4,000 types of products for global customers. These products are widely used in maritime, road, railway, mining, construction, communication, environmental protection, energy storage, photovoltaic, electrical, and firefighting fields.

Milestones

1996

In 1996, CIMC took over and acquired the Dali Container Plant which was on the verge of bankruptcy, and established CIMC Xinhui. They introduced international capital from companies such as Japan's Sumitomo and Nippon Steel, injecting the gene for international development.

1997-1998

After the injection of management and technological transformation from CIMC, the ISO9000 quality management system was introduced. Standardized management was explored, production capacity increased rapidly, and the monthly output of ISO containers exceeded 10,000 TEU.

1999-2000

Developing new types of tree species (eucalyptus, pine, pine-birch, and bamboo wood) for container flooring to replace the increasingly scarce Apiton flooring, establishing the largest container flooring factory in the country at that time, and providing strategic resource security for the domestic container industry.

2001

Began to try to research and improve and trial production of 53 feet North America Domestic Container and Flatracks.

2002

Cumulative production of the 500,000th container off the line.

2003

The special container factory was built and put into operation to build CIMC special transport equipment professional manufacturing base.

2004

Mai Boliang visited CIMC Xinhui and proposed to build CIMC Xinhui into a diversified industrial base with an annual output of 500 million US dollars.

2005

Planned to produce the 1 millionth container off the assembly line; The global market share of folding boxes exceeded 85%, becoming the first world champion product of CIMC Xinhui.

2006

The first modular house sample container was freshly released, which creatively introduced standardized, modular and integrated industrial manufacturing into the construction field for the first time, and was hailed by Reuters as the world architectural revolution.

2007

The 53' container entered the American market for the first time, and cultivated another world champion product with innovation.

2008

Guangdong Xinhui CIMC Special Transportation Equipment Co., LTD. (referred to as "Special Container Factory") was rated as a national high-tech enterprise.

2009

Successfully developed BUSDECK Flatracks for transport vehicles, pioneering the containerization of large vehicles.

2010

Special Container signed a 5-year exclusive strategic supply contract with the global mining giant -- BHP Billiton (BHBP), becoming the mainstream supplier of Australian barracks market.

2011

Established strategic partnership with SEABOX, the largest supplier of military products in the United States.

2012

In the 30th anniversary of CIMC's operation, CIMC Xinhui won the Outstanding Contribution Award of the Group for 30 years.

2013

Successively developed and manufactured modular bleachers, equipment integration containers, platform containers, and intermodal containers.

2014

Cooperated with domestic communication head enterprises and successfully developed containerized inverter solutions.

2015

The United States rejected the imposition of "double reverse" tariffs on 53 "dry cargo containers exported to the United States from China, and the world champion products developed by CIMC Xinhui for many years can continue to be produced in China.

2016

The first generation of container shrimp breeding equipment won the gold award of the concept group of the Governor's Cup and the silver award of the industrial group.

2017

The special container production line was automated and upgraded, laying the foundation for the construction of container digital factory.

2018

Successfully passed Huawei first-class supplier certification. Became Huawei and ZTE's Tier-1 data center supplier, and entered the mainstream market of modular prefabricated data centers.

2019

CIMC Xinhui established a new vision of the development strategy of "innovator of containerized solutions and leader of container + new business".

2020

Successful trial production of the world's first powder coating line, container painting into the era of 3.0.

2021

Set up Environmental Protection Division and Fishery Science and Technology Division, and implement the container + business strategy in depth.

2022

The first fully prefabricated container data center in Southeast Asia was delivered; Won the "Trusted Partner of Chinese overseas Enterprises" in the annual ceremony of China IDC Industry.

2023

CIMC Fishery Technology Co., Ltd. was incorporated. Selected as the most potential supplier of fillet & grilled fish ingredients in China, and officially entered the mainstream food supply chain.

2024

Established Jiangmen CIMC Digital Power Equipment Co., LTD.
